Pippa was one of fifteen cats who were dumped outside when their “person,” a hoarder, was evicted. One of our rescuers, Tara, heard about it on Facebook, and she and two other rescuers, Claire and Tim, went into action. It took multiple trips and multiple efforts, but the intrepid crew managed to rescue 12 of the original fifteen. Not all the cats were friendly; many were understandably scared. One even tried to bite his rescuer. Tragically, one of the remaining three cats was killed by a car, and two were never found despite the rescuers’ best efforts. Tara and Claire each took in six of the cats (a lot to deal with at once, as you might imagine!). Pippa was one of them.
On January 16th, with tears in their eyes but joy in their hearts, they wished Pippa lots of happiness with her new forever parents in her new forever home 💕 She’s got lots of sunny windowsills, toys, a big plush bed and long days of playtime ahead! 😻 Congrats Y & L on your sweet new furbaby!
