Together we raised over $10K for our #ActionCat fundraiser walk! Thank you so much to our donors who love animals as much as we do!

Brooklyn Animal Action is a Brooklyn-based group of volunteers committed to improving the lives of animals in distress. Working with our communities, we facilitate Trap-Neuter-Release programs, find homes for adoptable animals, perform community outreach and education, and advocate for animal welfare. Since 2010, BAA has found homes for over 1,000 cats (and a few dogs) and TNR'd hundreds more. We believe in working together to create a better life for New York's animals.Help us find a home for these animals with urgent needs:

Miss Scarlett is an adorable little girl, with a tabby-striped head, white body, cute little black spots, and a pretty tail that contrasts with her white fur. She loves playing with the feather toy, being pet and getting to love you!
This sweet little lady used to be homeless on the streets of Crown Heights, however she was lucky to be taken in by a nice lady who helps take care of street cats in that area. Scarlett is doing really well in her current home.
Little Miss Scarlett is an older kitten, she is spayed and in good health. She can live with or without other cats. She is waiting to meet you!

Josephine is a wonderfully sweet, friendly girl. She’s a gorgeous midnight black and still has plenty of playful young cat energy, which she exhibits by climbing and chasing toys. She’s very interested in humans, and wants to rub up against you when you’re around. She’s a big talker, and makes the cutest chattering noise when she’s really engaged! Josephine would love a forever home of her very own. How about meeting this little sweetheart?

Jack is a sweet, gentle cat with beautiful eyes. He is currently in a foster home with a toddler; he’s good with children, loves to be petted and cuddled, and is a loving, happy, mellow fellow.
Poor Jack – like so many fantastic cats, he was abandoned by his family when they moved.
Fortunately, one of the tenants in his building turned to Brooklyn Animal Action, and we found Jack a foster home. Now he’s full of hope again. He’d love to be adopted so his story can have a happy ending! He’s the nicest boy, and even though he’s an older cat, he’s still full of life! He really deserves to find his forever home. Would you like to meet this beautiful boy?
